FindCalculation is committed to providing accurate, unbiased, and educational financial content. This policy governs how we create, review, and maintain all content on the platform.

Formula Accuracy

All calculator algorithms are based on standard financial mathematics and industry-accepted methodologies. Each formula is documented and explained in plain language on its respective calculator page.

Formulas are cross-validated against authoritative sources including IRS publications, Federal Reserve data, academic financial textbooks, and established financial software.

Author & Reviewer Standards

Content is written by qualified financial professionals. Author credentials (CFA, CFP, PhD Economics, CPA, etc.) are displayed on every calculator and article page.

All content undergoes peer review by an independent subject matter expert before publication.

We do not accept content from authors with undisclosed conflicts of interest with the financial products or institutions discussed.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are made independently of advertising and commercial considerations.

We do not accept payment for favorable coverage, calculator rankings, or content modifications from financial institutions.

Sponsored content, if ever published, will be clearly and prominently labeled as 'Sponsored' or 'Advertisement'.

Our ad network (Google AdSense/AdX) operates independently of our editorial team. Advertisers do not influence our content.

Review & Update Schedule

Tax-related content: Reviewed annually (or sooner following major tax legislation changes).

Interest rate assumptions: Updated quarterly.

All calculator content: Reviewed at minimum quarterly.

Content with a 'Last Reviewed' date older than 12 months is flagged for review.
